If your not paying for the tolls take the GWB, if you are 287 to 87 to 84. Tolls are a lot cheaper and a lot less traffic

Another vote for the GW. Unless there's an accident/disabled, you'll blow right on through.

Like others said, if you're not paying the tolls out of your pocket, take 95 across the G.W.... Shouldn't be too bad on a Saturday. Just make sure you strap/tape everything down in your cab to avoid being taken out by it.

I would take 287. The roads are better and there is usually less traffic.

What are you picking up? If you are paying tolls
Tappan zee/ 87 to 84 right over to exit 7/ route 7 north follow right up into new milford.

Mileage is cheaper than the toll difference by a bunch.

What time you gonna be up here?

Going 80 to 287 north ofthe TZ is a really REALLY roundabout way to avoid the cross bronx but that less than 10 mile stretch of 95 is the biggest crap shoot in the northeast. If it's clear you can go from the bridge to the toll booths in about 20 minutes. If not......

I usually check Google for the traffic in the cross Bronx and if it's backed up, cross GW and take 87n to 287 to 95. It's a few miles longer but well worth it.

If you do take the GWB, get in the left lane well in advance if you have prepass. Also ignore the no trucks in left lane signs until you get past 295. It'll make life easier for you.
