Glad I saw this too. I wanted that auto temp control.
Come to think of it, I keep forgetting to mark my 3rd new blue AC switch so when it burns out next week I'll still remember which way is on and off, LOL.

We have the digital comfort pro apu unit..adjusts for the bunk and the front cab..We Love it..couldn't live without it..You preset what temps.you want and we don't idle..it kicks in automatically when we are on home time after 10 hours..then builds up the batteries so we don't have to turn the refrigerator off. It was a great investment for us.

If you know how it works then it's not bad. But I've had to diagnose an issue with it blowing too hot or cold only to find out that it's working just fine. Some people like to have their hvac just blow a certain temp at them regardless of the temp in the cab.
With the automatic system it'll use heat or a/c to get to the requested temp then it'll try and maintain that temp coming out of the ducts with slight adjustments if the cab temp goes up or down. So you could have the a/c turn on full blast then taper off which can make it feel like it's no longer working right or blowing warm compared to how it was 5 minutes ago. If you set it to 60f you'll get full a/c with no temp regulation, set it to 90f and you get full heat.
