Most of the time they do. They will grind a few layers of old pavement off at least for a few hundred feet around the overpass. Some places though (Chicago) are notorious for paving and not changing the signs

The really demolished one on the rear of the trailer was more than likely #2 on the tractor. If you look at the rear upper deck of the tractor you can see it tweaked and bent up.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -

Yes, if you look closely, you can see #2 is messed up, riding much lower on the left. My guess is there's at least 3 totaled cars, not just 2.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this.

I had that issue on us 24 in Kansas city the other day , they were overlaying the the road as I went thru ..I barely cleared the bridge.

At the company I work with it is an automatic termination. Plus the ins deductable.
