I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

The Indy-Milwaukee run is a nonstarter for me--ops manager offered me about a grand a week guarantee but told me his other driver just picked up a load today that was scheduled to pick up last Sunday. That isn't sustainable, and I told him so. He agreed and gave me first dibs on a primo job--round trip Chicago to Kansas City, one way each day, established customer, long term account. 500 miles each leg. Drop and hook both ends. Job starts Friday. And it possibly comes with a newer truck (he's checking with truck assignments now). If not then he can at least get a load bar rack installed on mine.

I'm in.

 

A bunch of old terminals got handed over to Quality as truck sales lots. Same with North Little Rock and Waxahatchie TX.

 

No idea dude. They don't tell me any more than they tell you.

 

Would hate to lose that one though; it's a good place to hide when in that area.

 

Just got back from watching Captain America Civil War.

Bring a lunch. It's two and a half hours long.

But good, IMO.

 

Sorry; been busy doing admin work and switching out trucks all day.

Got a Cascadia with 58,000 miles and a Detroit DD15 with DT12 auto. (But still no load lock rack. Grrr.)

I'm planned out on four loads already. The HMFWIC says he likes to keep his minions planned out a week in advance.

I'm hip.

At a friend's house taking a break and doing laundry plus some dog sitting.

Watching Minions. Headed back to truck in an hour or two.
