11 mph Speeding ticket Before CDl

Only thing that has shown up on my DAC is the reckless driving. Not saying you are wrong but just basing my comment on my personal experience. The actual ticket I got from the trooper was 15 over, didnt say anything about reckless driving on the ticket. According to the clerk of court there 15 over is reckless driving in VA and further thats the way it would be reported. I even tried to get it off my dac after 10 years and they said because it was reported as reckless driving it would stay on my dac permanently. I even sent them a copy of the original citation. They said that I had to work it out with VA.

 

I do know one thing for sure. I was an owner operator at the time and my bobtail insurance nearly doubled when the insurance company got ahold of it. Went from $219 a month to $467 a month.

 

Yeah with stuff like that there aren't many (any?) good choices.
I'm not the expert on that though.

I got a ticket for doing 51 in a 40 back in August 2014.

When I went to the DMV(not for me) about a month ago, I gave one of the ladies my license and she said my driving record was clear.

How is this possible?

 

Tickets go through a ton of hands from the time it was given until time the DMV gets it. Occasionally one falls through the cracks.
