We have several guys leased to the same company running 6 car Infinity's pulled by 5500 Dodge dually's. Wonder how long before they are worn out
-
You're gonna have to install a PTO inside your truck because the trailers don't have hydraulic controls like the cottrells do. That's like an extra $1500 or so
-
Web sight says they come with a self contained 12 volt hydraulic pump?
-
That's not what they told me when I called. I would call them just to make sure
-
Did you decide on a trailer yet?
-
Still working on it.
I will tell you it's not looking very good for infinity.
Puting aside the bad reviews they have received here .
I contacted them for information and they were supposed to send me pictures and contact numbers of customers who have them.
I made no less than six phone calls and two emails to them each time promising to send me the info.
This is week 3 and no pictures or info.
If this is there service for a possible sale of 40,000.00 imagine how a warranty phone call would go after the sale.
I am now looking at sun valley trailers.
Any feed back by anyone on sun valley would be great.Viceroy1 Thanks this. -
I just happen to live near the infinity shop and so I stopped by yesterday. They were in the process of building 3 while I was there. I asked for a couple customers to call and they gave me two numbers. I called a guy who bought a six car. He said he has two of them. He said he liked them. I said then I assume you havent had any major issues with welds, etc. He says well I had to re weld one of the axles on! lol. He goes on to tell me that he expects issues like that! WTF? Anyway I was not impressed either and I would avoid them as well. I will give you the numbers they gave me. Tony Tandy, 3 car 806-367-4709 and Dave Cruz, 6 car 510-701-2552. Dave works out of CA and he said if he had to do it again he would go with a class 8 and a bigger trailer. Does sun valley make a six car for medium duty pickups or are you stepping up to a class 7/8 truck?Terry270 Thanks this.

8-10 week lead time to build one at this point.
-
Thanks for the info.
I already have a class 8 freightliner Columbia.
I was playing around to see if I could stay light enough with a six car to stay below the 55,000 gvw heavy truck tax.
I am not sure that is possible though with anything other than an infinity or a Kaufman, both not to well made trailers.
