Is this good indicator when buying the truck?
If truck is 2015 and mileage is 250000, does not this mean that truck was probably running without problems?

Or a company team truck that just never stopped EXCEPT when being repaired. lol

Maybe. You can have a lot of problems that get fixed same day or overnight that don't really kill your mileage much, but raise your frustration level sky high. Only way to know is check maintenance records, and hope they are accurate.

Also depends on if it was put in service in Jan '15 or Dec '15. My '15 model was put in service in Dec '14 and has 158k.
blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
The 2013 I drive was built around the end of June in 2012 and I got it in early August of 2012, probably after it pulled a stack up from south Texas.
Our teams got changed often to new trucks to prevent too many miles too soon. -
Supposedly,
but I would not believe in maintenance report accuracy, especially if it was driven by those Eastern Europeans (I am one of them so no offense) who go under truck and replace transmission

Ages ago I drove for Koch and got a year old 99 fld 120 that had dam near 300k on it lol
rachi Thanks this. -
Its definitely been running. I kind of shy away from trucks with 300,000-500,000 miles on them unless they still have a warranty on them. Thats usually when they start needing repairs. Course doesnt apply in all cases.
