Location for the night

Looks like Carlisle for the night.

pu for lowes at a hard 0600 or later tomorrow. the contact has been out for 9 days and did not list a back up person.

ends up wasting half a viable day this week. have a pm b scheduled sat in obetz for 0700. would have preferred to pu and get headed that direction.

 

second stop cant deliver early?

 

I called them and asked and was told to call back tomorrow. I won't be holding my breath though. It's at a Restaurant Depot. They're always backed up worse than a Penn 80 toilet. I've never been to this location though so we'll see what happens.

 

used to work for them prior to driving. really depends on the store and if the think they can squeeze you in. my managers usually said do it to get the product.

how many pallets are coming off at that stop? make sure to let them know how many if you decide to call again.

edit to ask, can the first stop be moved back some to save some of your 14?

 

No wiggle room on the first stop. There's only 8 pallets for the 2nd stop so hopefully they can squeeze me in somewhere. I'll call again in the morning. All this could mean nothing though depending on what kind of backhaul I wind up with

Definitely. Hopefully dispatch can get me something to pickup tomorrow if tye 2ND drop will get me in early. I might have to spend a 2nd night in Mass but at least I'll be ready to roll West first thing Wednesday morning. Or better yet deadhead back to Ohio. That's the way it used to be all the time. It was a beautiful thing but I'm guessing GB gave em hell for always having us come back empty.

 

think it was part of the contract to come back mt. they are aftet all paying the bil. sni tries to grab what they can. it can bite em in rhe ### when rhe account freight is delayed because of backhauls.
