Soon to be ex-oilfield trash moving to Reno Nv.

When i first started driving we moved to Reno and was hearing about a "Donner Pass" somewhere nearby. It didnt take long to find it and soon was learning how to chain up. I know that curve you're talking about where a trainer and student were killed when the student hit that curve at like 75 mph. There is a video on you tube of that wreck.

He said he moved down for the oil boom. That bubble has popped because the goat ####ers in saudi are pumping excess oil and gas. That caused the price of oil and gas to drop below the point where fracing and drilling in Texas is profitable. Goto any oil town in Texas and marvel at the acres of empty parking lots where fleets of trucks and equipment were staged, that are now empty.

There is a trucking company in Goloconda or Battle Mtn that is usually hiring local drivers. The name might be Davis Transport but don't quote me on that

I worked in Reno maybe 10 years ago. Rented a house in the NW region which is the nicest place to live. $750 for a 3 bedroom with a 2 car garage. I guess those days are gone. Reno is nice. Small. They close down the main st every week or month for Hot Summer night thing. Can't remember. Lots of cars, girls and attractions.

Cabs are all dispatched by a computer no matter what cab company so it's fair. If you go to any phone booth and just keeping hitting the same button over and over like 333333333333 a cab will show up. That's in case your drunk.
