I found this online and absolutely love it. Just a couple of things that I would need to change for me though.

First thing to go would be the lights on the bumper. Too much off pavement driving for me to keep those on. different visor. I don't like the ones that drop so far. And I need a drop axle. Probably a visor like this one. And I need beacons.

There is none, I just found the photo and loved it.

I am probably going to do a glider on this though. I am thinking 500-600 hp 18 speed and dual range tandems. Something like 3.55 or 3.70 in the high range and 4.11 or lower in the low range. I am down to Hoovers or Kustom Trucks to put it all together.

May even think about a 625 C16. We have one in our fleet and I had to drive that today while mine was getting the fender fixed after a drop axle tire blew a month ago. Pulled McDonald Pass at 30 mph grossing 92k with a load of asphalt. Truck has dual range tandems with 4.11 on the high side and 5.33 on the low side.

I am going to spec it to run 105,500 with the occasional heavier load.

    Ruthless Thanks this.

Ha! You're not saying that some trucks are all show and no go, are you?? I thought you got paid more if you had more chrome?

What are your reasons for speccing out a Star to buy? Over the other brands I mean
