ive talked to verizon about this because i was concerned about using internet radio on my phone since it uses data. it only shows up as amount of data on your bill. however if you get in a accident and their attorney gets a court order to get your phone records. they can tell what time you were using data , how long and what type of data. so if your were surfing the web and have an accident they can find out. at the same time if you were just using navigation or radio app they will know that too.

At a DC with random checks it occurs when you get pulled for random alcohol check.

Listen, if you think you are going to feel good about beating the system of safety at your job, that brings your integrity into question. If beating the policy is what you want to do, be prepared for harsher policies. It's about safety, trying to get around it is no joke and you should be terminated. If you Need to text, pull over and change your status to ON DUTY. This is a good job, don't jeopardize it. There are many standing in line to fill your seat, trust me.

I know a WM that has done this. He has one phone they know about and he has another phone they have no clue about. How dangerous is this!!!??? I'm thinking of calling the main WM office or his DC

What exactly is the cell phone policy? I'm sure no texting while driving or handheld cell phone usage, but has Wal-mart banned even hands-free cell phone usage? I applied at Shelby NC and just want to know 100% what the current policy is.

Talk as much as you want while parked. Talk no more then 60 minutes while on the drive line. They prefer they be 10 minutes or less at a time . No texting of course and records are pulled if you have a preventable accident or incident but only for the day of the day the accident happened nothing prior .

The day before, the day of, and the day after. Specifically, the last call/text of the day before, all activity the day of, and the first call/text the day after the accident/incident.

Regardless of who he/she works for, a true professional doesn't fool around with any phones while driving and follows the posted speed limit which seems very difficult for the rook breed generation these days. I sit in my chair relaxed watching double pup pullers fly by me maxing their governors out with their back box swinging all over. You won't cut it here with that type of driving for long, if you need to play with your phone... stay at a company that allows that and puts school grads in their trucks.
