I did go to that place near the downtown warehouse district of Cleveland where they charge $20 at the gate once. It was ghetto for sure! I also was re-consigned all the way into Philly once and that place had a gate fee too. My company always reimbursed me though.

I had a load of ice cream (bluebell) rejected by Kroger once. The pallets weren't labeled right (listed as pints instead of gallons, but the order was right.) I had to drive back to the creamery, get unloaded, relabled, reloaded. It took 26 hours if I count the first loading time in the math. I worked at Werner in the dry van fleet, did this load as a favor to my dispatcher. Very frustrating
