Well, if you pull a flat deck, you can do pull ups off the rub rail with your knees bent. I suppose one could make some simple bars that hooked to the stake pockets as well

Bodyweight exercises are going to be the most effective, because they engage the largest muscles, and so burn the most calories. Also, once you build a little bit of muscle, it will help with weight loss, because muscle, unlike fat is "metabolically" active tissue, meaning it burns calories as a function of just being there. The best body weight exercises that require NO EQUIPMENT would be push ups, squats, and lunges just to name a few. Pullups are great but require some sort of fixed bar. Make sure to warm up though with some jumping jacks, torso twists, or a brisk walk, because you want to get the muscles warmed up to decrease any possibility of injury. Hope this helps!

I have started using bands with my workouts. Kind of an attempt to maximize my time and make quicker gains. I would say that just about any bodyweight exercise can be enhanced with these.
-
I bring curls but will be bringing my resistance bands. You can do almost any muscle group with them. I do agree with some on winters. When getting out the cab I try to walk with a purpose to get my heart rate up. Sometimes pushups at drop yards or customers. Always wear gloves cause we all know what's on the pavement! Up in Michigan-Minnesota it gets pretty stinking cold and my motivation for outside work out winds down.

Agreed! I wear gloves and usually work out in the front of my truck. Seems like the least likely of places for someone to take a leak.

No doubt, and you can use the bumper or tow hooks to attach restriction bands to workout! Roll window down and play some Godsmack. There ya go, and all the other truckers will stare at you as they sit in their cabs. Easy ice breaker to talk to a lot lizard too!

I pull dry van and reefer. If empty you can jump in back and do some pull ups in back, but my paranoia kicks in. No way out if someone thinks closing the door would be funny.

Not so interested in the lizards. My wife may take issue with that. Besides that I imagine being military you've had some experience with Barracks Rats! If lizards are anything like them then no thanks!
Godsmack on the other hand definitely rings true brother. -
I've been doing Convict Conditioning for 3 years, did crappy bodyweight for about a year before I read CC and how to do things effectively, Kettlebells off/on last 4 years. To this day I will say it is still the best book on learning how to progress and consistently gain skill/strength. I am almost able to do a freestanding handstand push-up, which is mind blowing to me in my mid 40s. Once you get your body building new muscle the machine turns on, even what you eat gets used differently.
There is an extremely awesome Facebook private group with very active people for Convict Conditioning run by good people. The pull-ups I have yet to setup inside cab of truck, I just do the other variations using my upper bunk or do pull-ups when near a bar, door, or tree. It's perfect I've been asked many times how I look so fit or get comments like "oh you must be new to trucking, give it a few years and you will look like the rest", thing is I'm on year 20 as a truck driver, I was weak had a small potbelly for 16 years before.
I have proven to myself I cannot ever out exercise my bad diet when I let it slip. I just except the idea of everything in moderation, but when I want veins in my stomach I cut the carbs/sugar to under 50grams a day. Go order a ham/cheese omelette for dinner forget the rest is one of my fat cutting secrets. Eat fat to lose fat! It's not perfect, but it is low carb and will help you to burn body fat instead of processing new sugar from hash browns, toast etc.WotansVolkman Thanks this. -
Close handles and pad lock them so you can't be locked in.WotansVolkman Thanks this.

That's pretty sweet! I have trouble with my head when doing handstands. But my one arm pushups are coming along nicely! At 41 I feel pretty good about that. CCs progressions really hold true if you stick to it.
