You do realize I'm not a punkin hauler anymore, right? Just makin' sure!

Pickup in the Troyer Industrial park, Himself is washing the truck now - too much road grime for him! I'm not complaining; he takes excellent care of it, so I am willing to tolerate a bit of what seems obsessive to me. Hubby was panicking over the annual because the 'check engine' light is on...DOT inspection guy said "There ain't nothing wrong with this truck" when he did the annual inspection earlier this month; quickest annual ever.

Load board won't get fixed until after the holiday weekend I bet. Convenient, since they kinda told us to take whatever load we can get over the holiday, eh? Heck with that, I'll stay home since I was delayed so bad all week, anyway.

    Argh.

Fueled & filled DEF at Gallops at 15&20; 30 minutes down the road we get the dreaded DEF light. Stop, check codes...same thing he has seen before, bad quality DEF. Drain tank, contents look & smell like water. Straight up H2O. There might have been some residual good stuff in the tank, because there was a bit of truck-stop-parking-lot smell toward the end, but nothing like what good quality diesel pee smells like. Two hours fixing it, hopefully back on the road soon...

ETA, light in truck indicates that there was, indeed, water in the tank.

At the Hook now, putting the good stuff in. We have 200 miles from light to 5mph, so we were okay, just ticked.

Good stuff in, light off & code cleared. Magic!
