I applied for the Raymond NH DC on 5/07. My application status is " under consideration". Raymond is no longer listed as accepting applications. Because 3 weeks have gone by is it still possible to get a call? Thanks.

 

I would mention it to safety when he talks to them.

 

I think it was 3 weeks or a month before my husband got a call. They say it all depends on the location

 

What's important is that you are complete and truthful. I believe the application clearly states that it is interested in convictions. So, if he was ticketed for doing 150mph, but was only convicted of an equipment violation then the specific equipment violation he was convicted of should be sufficient.

I was asked if I had been convicted of any felonies. I was once arrested for a half a dozen felony charges, but I wasn't convicted of any of them. I truthfully answered NO. (the police get it wrong sometimes) The charges aren't important. The official record of conviction is.

 

Yes, it's possible. They may have closed new applications, but be working what they have. It's also possible they have fulfilled their needs right now, and haven't made it to you yet. Keep an eye out for openings. If your app gets too old you may want to consider reapplying to freshen it up.

Back when they were accepting paper applications I believe they considered the information dated after six months. I'm not sure how they look at the online applications.

 

Is Memorial Day no longer a paid holiday?

 

I was told we still earn our paid days off as we normally do until we get transferred over to PTO; which is supposed to happen sometime this summer.
