It's a question of tone and history.

Mack has been around for a very long time. Most of us have a history of engaging in or reading useful posts of his. Unfortunately in your relatively short time here you've been embroiled in several bruhahas, which have detracted from and overshadowed your useful posts.

History is a minor part, the major reason your post felt trollish is the tone which (I at least) read it. Often you (and many others) make a statement with the intent of seeking knowledge, clarification or presenting a differing viewpoint. However word choice makes people read it as an attack, or an attempt to start a brouhaha. Their response then comes from a more personal, emotional, and less objective mindset.

It's not about being PC. It's about effective communication. Too many posts in the Schneider area have gone down this road. Poor word choice on the intial post leads me to misinterpretation. Scanning posts instead of reading them fully and carefully, looking at context and history creates misunderstandings.

We all need to relax, try to read with an.open mind and seek to assume the best of intent (and most humorous) interpretation possible. We should ask for.clarification instead of leaping to the defense. Not allow mean spirited posts to drag us down to the.lowest common denominator.

To help us reach for this lofty goal everyone should get a stuffed animal of there choice and give it a nice cuddle before each post. If it works for kindergarteners it.might just work for us. Although kindergarteners tend.to.be smarter than most truck drivers.

Negative Ghostrider, that pattern is full.

You should have seen fearless leaders face this afternoon when he asked why I turned in my notice.

" Because I will not be pushed into engaging in unsafe driving behaviors. "

Fearless leader, " Uh, well, how did we make you do that?"

" You want me to drive beyond my limits."

Fearless leader, " No we only offer that to you."

Offer it three times after I've said no.

" My last day is the 7th sir."

Buzz the tower at will Maverick, just please leave contrails in the shape of a smiley face. Or a fluffy bunny. Not a ducky though. I like to eat duck and thinking of fluffy ducklings detracts from how tasty they are as adults.

I bought an inexpensive lithium ion battery blower today. Just too many trailers with too much (quite obviously old) dust in them. Got goggles and dust masks already.

They had one of those at the place I worked for in town. They do work good. Whole trailer done in 30 seconds.

That's a great idea. I might have to look into that. I'm still using a push broom. It works fine for me except for the fact that it takes me more time to undo the maze of bungees that tie it to the catwalk than it does to sweep a trailer thanks to my untrusting nature.
