Boy, I'm glad this thread came along....
$27.99 per 5 gallon bucket comes out to around $5.60 a gallon.
Sale ends today boys....rollin coal Thanks this. -
Oh wow that was a really smoking deal. You saved enough to buy me a steak dinner
You know you can get a rain check for as many more buckets as you want if their stock is sold out? A pallet or whatever. Get the cashier to give you a rain check and it will be to the store on the next truck load. They will call you when it gets there.

This is a good price.

I didn't know that about the rain check deal, but it's good to know. I don't know why it's so much cheaper here, but I bought all but one bucket. I'm sure glad you started this thread, Rollin.
Oh, and I'll gladly owe ya a steak dinner if you find yourself in my neck of the woods. I run sorta regional. Don't get out of Oklahoma/Texas too often. -
It would be a good thing, that low price, if I was using a 15w40. I am using a 10w30 syn blend in my remanned S60 12.7, and the oil samples look better and I can go longer than on any 15w40 I have used before in this motor. Surprising, the 10w30 syn blend doesn't lose TBN or viscosity nearly as fast as any 15w40's I have used before, even the same brand. Even engine wear metals are same or lower on oil samples. Not sure why, but I am not going to complain.
blairandgretchen Thanks this.
