Schneider Racist Hypocrites

I'm not saying I agree with the agenda behind the term, I was just pointing out that her side has a term for that particular thing and it isn't lumped in under racism. I think PC-speak is a crock of crap, personally. If someone wants to try and shove it down our throats, though, they ought to at least use their own terms correctly, neh? It's all silly, at the end of the day. Just be a decent person in life, and accept responsibility for one's own short comings. Saying that, however, undoubtedly in itself makes me a sexist, bigot, homophobe or whatever the buzz phrase of the day is.

 

Homophobia is real. It is a psychological term used in mental health. It is generally used in cases where a man was molested as a boy by an adult male. It has its own definition to describe the destructive effects of the molestation on the man. Most of it trying to prove to himself that he isn't a homosexual.

The left has taken an unfortunate condition and uses it to name call anyone that doesn't agree with them.

 

Is there something in the water over at Schneider that makes people concoct their own definitions of simple English words?

People....please quit drinking the kool aid and simply look up a word using a dictionary...don't assume a definition!

More descriptive and definitive...but basically the same thing. I just can't find anything regarding molestation of or abuse of children within any definition.....that's what set me off!

The term was first used in 1972 by George Wineburg. You have several types of homophobia. The most common are Individual, Internalized and Institutional. Most of the most common definitions include "fear".

If you want a definition to a mental/psychology/sociology term, I suggest you use a dictionary just for that. There are plenty of them out there. Here is just one example:

A term that originated in the 1970s, originally within psychology, to indicate extreme hatred and/or deep-seated fear of gay men, considered by some to stem from repressed or latent homosexuality. Here is the definition for the word "repressed", having or characterized by a large number of thoughts, feelings, or desires, especially sexual ones, that are suppressed in this way.
