Air Products is going through some drastic changes. Under the leadership of the new CEO the company motto is "To be the most profitable industrial gas company in the world". This meant mass layoffs and the selling off of divisions. Morale is rock bottom because job security is non-existent here. Every employee knows that it might be his or her turn to be sacrificed for the sake of higher EBITA. It would not surprise me if the company ceases to exist a year or two from now because it was sold off in pieces like a stolen car in a chop shop.
If you're looking for a company where you can grow and maybe have a long career I suggest going someplace else. Getting laid off two months after getting hired is not unheard of.

Even the office lady that called me to inform me the hiring process was starting has been cut. I'm not sure of her official title. But she told me to call if I had any questions. So when I did so she said she was no longer with the company. And I asked if she didn't mind me asking wht what happend. She replied there cutting back.
Along with this practice being exzerted by many corporations. One also has to think whom may AP be about to buy out. If AL bought AG, I'm sure AP will acquire an outfit to stay compeditive. With the larger AL, and this happen in the wake of AP trying to get AG. So down the line there may be a 51.5% AP merger with some one or a flat buy out of some outfit.
With this election I'm not sure witch direction the U.S. is headed. And I see how Trump is hated (other than the wall statement, I'm not sure why). But if he gets in office cryo will take off! And industry will boom. -
