I started in a 1986 Volvo N12 daycab. No air ride suspension, no air conditioning, no "wing windows". Ran 30-40 degrees hotter in the cab than outside.![]()

I started out in one of the first KW T600s. It was an old CFI truck. It had Rayco spring suspension (no air ride!). I hauled a lot of grain with that rough riding son-of-a-buck!
-
Yup. I named my spring ride. Volvo Shake and Bake.

negative reactive is a capacitive reactive reading.

Any idea what might be causing it?rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

Couldn't have done it. A rough ride I can handle, but when I'm hot, my [road] rage level increases 347.4%. Not good when driving anything really, much less one of these things.

I drove it around the Midwest, getting a hotel room every night. Got completely dehydrated one day...stopped sweating and started shivering. Not good.

Lots of antenna experts in this other forum in case you don't get many responses

Evvy Thomas Thanks this. -
All the ham guys would tell you to hook an antenna tuner up to make that reactance disappear

It is being caused by the swr of 1.35. That being said it's well within spec.
People get over concerned about swr readings.
