Full frame is usually heavier than a 1/4 frame, so if you're going to haul by the load as opposed to hourly, I would go 1/4 frame. Full frame is more stable and you can dump on more of a grade than a 1/4 frame. Running a 1/4 frame you need to block your 5th wheel so it doesn't tilt.
bigguns and poppapump1332 Thank this. -
Frameless you better be level but I prefer the frameless although frame dumps are more stable.
bigguns Thanks this. -
The job requires a frame or quarter frame trailer. I know 1/4 frames are very popular in LA. but I've never seen them elsewhere.

The less frame the better

not a dirt hauler, but why less frame better???? wouldnt more be better?. im a flatbedder so educate me please lol

Frameless allows you to carry more weight but frame and1/4 frame are more stable in less than ideal dumping situations.

Ah ok. Thx much
-
Maybe crazy but I liked tub work. -
I'll take full frameless any day of the week, never mind the weight difference, you put a frameless up with a lean and you can see and either put it down before the point of no return or chance it and put it up, full frame will try and stay straight until it can't then 99% of the time it's taking your truck over with it,
