IT isn't the SWR reading he's concerned about.
The reactance reading is his concern

I guess it's time to turn the truck off and start pulling fuses until the noise goes away.

I said, I guess not clearly, the reactance is being caused by the SWR.

    Isn't reactance a bad thing?
I always try to shoot for zero.

It's best to have a 52 ohm resistance with a zero reactance however that might not be possible. The big problem how the reactance is reduced.

I would try to find a happy medium between swr and resonance. Maybe experiment to raise swr and decrease reactance.

    At what frequency does x=0?
Your analyzer works different than mine and requires a learning curve. I've never used one without a knob to turn. Try to raise and lower the test frequency and watch what happens to reactance vs swr.

The other day I swept the entire range that my radio tunes to looking for 0 reactance but the closest I could get was like -4.xx. I cant remember what frequency it was at but it was not on the cb band. I just turned my truck in for B service and start vacation tomorrow so things will be on hold for a the next 11 days.

I think it might be worth experimenting with a different antenna.
When this antenna dialed in, I got X=2. I left it how it was.

Can you post a picture of the Smith chart printed from your computer? You should be able to hook the analyzer up to your computer to transfer the data.
