    Come on,

This has NOTHING to do with your "supertrucker" or "cowboy" terminology.

My questions are serious......And the answer to my questions is they WILL continue to service this country with Pride.

They Will get a physical (passing) so don't worry. It just wont be the way your accustomed to.

I just got a 2 year card and I work for a mega and anyone could pass it, I was real surprised because I thought they got a lot tougher.
They did weigh me fully dressed with my pockets loaded and I was below the BMI percentage , so I didn't get flagged for a sleep study.
And I think there is no sleep apnea rules yet.

    Dave_in_AZ and stayinback Thank this.

Yeah, But it goes beyond a sleep study...Hard working men been Snoring heavy at night since the turn of 2 centuries ago....A little High BP, Been that way for decades, Its a stressful job, And Not an issue!

Got nothing but super Nitwits in the ATA and FMCSA that want Harmonically balanced/Healthy Athletic type Wheat Bread eating Sheep to drive a truck with an "I'll obey" persona.

I know im right because I've been around this game awhile.

Wont happen on our watch that's for sure.

Got my card. Whoever said I'm not allowed to go somewhere else was wrong. I went somewhere else, he saw that I was deferred and asked about it. I told my story, and he shook his head, muttered something about "lawyers practicing medicine" and signed off. 12 months, which is all I ever get. I'm fine with that.

You can go to a second one. What they were referring to is doctor shopping. Go to the third one and they got ya.

If the majority of truck drivers, both LTL and OTR, were "Harmonically balanced/Healthy Athletic type Wheat Bread eating Sheep to drive a truck with an "I'll obey" persona", how would this affect or change the trucking industry as a whole?

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

You can go to the second one. The problem is if the first doctor recorded with the state that
he recommended you for a sleep study. Even if doctor two signs your medical card there is
now a record that a doctor recommended you for the study. Should you be involved in an
accident, an ambulance chasing lawyer could cause you some problems.

In my case doctor one recommended me for a sleep study. I did not trust him at
all so I went to doctor two. I did the requested sleep study, I just didn't do it with
    him.

If a driver falls within the guidelines for sleep apnea; neck size, BMI, age, etc.
At some point you should likely get yourself tested. If you go to your family
doctor and request the study you will have time to deal with it.
