POLL: Are you working during DOT blitz?

dot blitz wont stop me from working, weather i am on the road or not depends on other factors. i cant say that i am a fan of being on the road during the blitz however

 

Newbie Question: DOT Blitz??? What's that?

 

Been on the road since I got my CDL in 08, and have driven more garbage than you would imagine, DOT Blitz seems like a big deal, it's not... If you get pulled in buy a lottery ticket...

Just do your #### job and drive on.

 

I never got pulling in for an inspection. Since I was the last truck in line for a while I asked the DOT guy what they were looking for. He said tires, cat walks and overall appearance before they pulling you around. Both times I was looked at there was DOT on each side of the truck and one in the back to look at trailer wheels.

 

It's not if you are running straight and your truck is in tip top shape. As an O/O I am choosing not to run next week.

 

I have my AT next week. Will be off road for 2 weeks.

 

Run right, nothing to be concerned about.

Let's all hope they pull the trash off the road. The more white Volvo's and junkers they OOS, the more freight for real drivers.

They should follow the trail from the crap truck to the company it came from and shut them down too.

If law enforcement, would really enforce the law, and follow up, there would be less illegal, unsafe, and irresponsible clowns sharing our freight.
