I worked for Keystone. I never lifted a box. Some retail accounts are strictly no-touch...I was on Best Buy. Had a good run with them, though going into their Secaucus yard was a crap shoot. Also, not union and no backhauls, except for Best Buy returns, or cardboard.
Do you guys in food service workout outside work

Seems to me the job is it's own workout, with nothing extra on the side needed.Sho Nuff Thanks this. -
Oh oh oh yesterday I saw a broken down Keystone Freight Truck on I-480! It was probably the first time I was actually looking for them.

I did when I worked for USF. I was 268lbs after OTR pure fatness. So I wanted and needed to drop LB's. Heavy weight lifting after work and more cardio. Had to bring my gym stuff cause if you go home you'll get the couch affect. Dropped to 223lb before I left eating everything in sight(pizzas nightly). Co workers that saw me day 1 to the day I left said I looked like I was in fighting shape lol. Blew up to close to 240lb my first 6 months linehaul was still lifting and doing cardio. Got more discipline and realize I can't eat like I did at FS. Sitting at 197lbs now. A lot harder then FS to get lean or stay light then on linehaul. I know if I went back to FS no cardio just weight training. Even though you work physically you have to strengthen yourself. Creatine would be a good idea to use while doing FS give you more endurance and only 12 bucks a tub that will last a month. Just drink a lot of water.
Sho Nuff, Mike2633 and Pintlehook Thank this. -
@Radman, age has a whole lot to do with it as well. The older you get, the harder it is to get rid of the extra pounds, and the easier it is to put on extra pounds. It sucks to have an old man life style, but a 20 something appetite...

Now I've actually started believing the whole Atkins style diet. I can eat more food and seems like I'm still able to loose weight. My weight loss recommendation is 1700cal I eat close to 2700-3000 cals a day low carb high fat and tend to still drop weight or not gain. If I ate 2700cals with carbs I'd slowly gain weight. My activities are gym 1-2hrs 3-5 days a week and that's about it. Work is linehaul very non active. I feel like crap anytime I have carb days and when I go Keto I feel way better. I really don't feel like I'm on a diet either. I think it's too hard to fit carb type foods in a diet. It makes you hungry 1-2hours later. I used to think low carb was a hippie diet but have tried it and it what I think works with me. -
Radman Thanks this.
