I've had dealers scratch cars removing the covers because they had sand caught under the wheel well and side skirt areas and try and file claims. Not cool when they try to pull that bs.
-
The dealers I worked at didn't have that issue, thank goodness. Audi would never hear the end of it.

I have a load on my trailer and one of the cars had a nail it the tire. Pressure was good when I loaded up. Tire is flat now. Any suggestions? Is this going to affect my pocket?
-
I would air that thing up just before delivery and not say a word about it.Old Tex, Hammer166, Bobhaul and 1 other person Thank this.

That is very likely what happened right before the car was loaded. (And signed for.)

Badger... surely you aren't implying that a used car dealer might do something unethical?
whoopNride, Pullin2, Terry270 and 2 others Thank this. -
Not just they used dealers, I have one new car dealer that always has a problem releasing the lease returns, caught them one time switching out a computer module for one in the shop, another time swapping the aftermarket wheels and tires for stock on a used one from their sale line. After that I was not allowed to show up at their location without 24 hour notice and a call when I was 30 minutes out to the dealer principal (small town dealer on the edge of Mass/NY line).

Oh of course not! After all they are right up their with lawyers in ethics...
Pullin2, brian991219, Hammer166 and 1 other person Thank this. -
