As far as securing the fridge, I have ratchet strapped it to 2 pieces of angle iron which is bolted to the floor using the bolts where the seat was. Does it rattle? Yes, but it is the parts of the fridge that rattles. The fridge itself is very secure. I will look into the B & D. Do you know what the wattage is on it?

Any dorm sized fridge should work. I dont think its a complicated process selecting one. I walked down the isle.. saw this one. Looked at the dimensions,.. saw that it would fit, put it in the cart and that was that.

The 12 volt Danfoss German made compressor is much more efficient than stepping up the voltage to 110 volts through the inverter and running a 110 volt refrigerator.
Plus this unit keeps all the cold air inside when you open the door as opposed to the front loading kind when you open the door all the cold air falls out and the compressor has to start running again to bring it back to temperature.
