I don't know Micky, I've been OTR here for three years and although I have days where I want to quit, I continue on. Overall I actually like it here. My observation is that you seemed more content on the Goodyear acct. Of course I don't know the whole story about that.

Oh I was. We lost the rebid. No unhappy overall on polyone but she wants me home and I want to make more. LTL is where thats at to fill both wants. My issue currently is from a technical glich on my profile on crossroads that no one seems to be able to correct.

I tell ya though there ARE good poeple who try to help at SNI. Karen is one of them. So is my office staff now. Bit there is a limit to what everyone individually can do.

I decided to stay doing the local thing. My take home after taxes & insurance is just over $800. Home every night, 5 days a week, local company punkin. Don't get me wrong, I do get jiggy wid it. So this will do just fine until the time comes. I don't know if I'd wanna go OTR with Punkin, that seems, ummmm, no. And I was on the list to join Choice, all set to, until my Dad got ill, now I'm thinking I may have dodged a bullet there.

West Memphis won't even look at my truck until Monday night. When I got towed to the keasbey yard last week, the tech said if the problem happens again, it's going to need major work. So if they don't even start on it til monday, who knows when it'll actually be fixed. It has been confirmed that the loaner I was supposed to get is not even here. I knew I shouldn't have deviated from my usual schedule and should have just gone home when they asked me what i wanted to do. Money will do that though. Even if they do find me a truck to use, I'll have to do my 34 here at the OC so I can make it to San Antonio by Monday morning.

Yep. Monday 6 pm. There is currently 1 tractor and 2 trailers in the shop. Not sure what is going on til monday. I've been trying to get another truck and keep getting told they are looking for one. We have 52 tractors at IP. 51 are occupied and one is a loaner that sits at the intermodal yard in Marion, OH. Seems to be a 1 in, 1 out policy. Kind of frustrating when every OC has 100 tractors just sitting around.

Not major work like an overhaul or anything but the mechanic at the bulk yard said it had higher DPF pressure than he'd ever seen before. He said he didn't know if what he did to it would fix it but to just see what happens. He also said if it happens again, this time both boxes have to be taken out of the truck and it will take a few days to fix. The truck could at least make it around the yard then. It was just derated by 25% and couldn't regen. Now it stalls the second I put it into gear.
