Yes. But we have parking spaces rented at a local yard where we can park.

Compared to crude, LPG is easy money - especially since we're dropping and hooking in the Valley. Loading is a snap, too - chock the wheels, connect the ground, connect the loading hose, open 3 valves, and wait about 30 minutes til it's done. Much less work than hauling crude; you don't have to hunt for leases, carry fittings, climb ladders, gauge tanks, work samples, worry about H2S, or any of that. Plus, it's all paved roads. :)

The only downside is that we sometimes have to wait a little while in Brownsville for empty trailers to come back across the border. But when that happens we're on the clock, and the forwarding company has a driver restroom with a shower, a BBQ pit, a trailer shop, and it's within Domino's delivery area.

If you're interested, call the Baytown terminal.

Well, I'm back here in Odessa, My last company called me back to haul crude oil. Will probably go back to the S.E. New Mexico to do the loads out there again. My Boss has an RV there for me to stay in, but we'll see. It was just by luck I got my old RV back here in Odessa, just like coming home again.
Will have to do my physical and paperwork all over again, been gone for 4 months over the road, What a mistake !!!!

Are they keeping your pay the same? I am thinking of returning to the oil field as well.

My boss said yes to the 35% for the New Mexico area, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Heading back to ND to haul crude after taking the winter off in Nevada. Things seem to be stabilizing and contracts (out 12 months) are being signed.

Well here in southern New Mexico (Malaga area), it's up & down for loads for crude oil. The company I pull for could have 20-25 loads one day then the next day we could have 10 loads issued to us.
We use to pull NGL loads out of this area, but not anymore, I was told they NGL got underbid by Plains, don't quote me, but half of our work got cut in half.
Most of the drivers I work with are getting maybe 2-3 loads a day . Don't know what's happening.
