TQL.....A Broker who is legend in their own mind !

Strong arming?

 

TQL must get all there freight booked by the mega company's. Because OO will not deal with them, and company drivers have no choice.

 

The sad part is, if you count the loads on a board by listing broker. In most markets TQL will have the most listed. They have a ceiling to their rates, artificially lowering the other rates. They are going to sweat more and more people out of the industry. The only loads they have that pay anything, are ones that a mega has no chance of delivering on time. Probably because the mega driver didn't, or wasn't going to make the pick-up on time, and they had to relist the load. It's players like them, that are destroying this industry for carriers.

 

It might still be. There's a good bit of what used to be white collar crime, that isn't a crime anymore. Someone has to have the desire to investigate and prosecute it too. That just doesn't happen to the one percenters much nowadays.

 

I used to get stuck with them stupid broker loads as a (company driver) delivering to Sysco foods in olathe,ks.By the time the company paid me (and the lumper fee $100 the only one making anything was the Broker

 

How in the hell can someone make you do anything you don't want? Tell them to shove it and work for someone else. That's my question... And btw I'm not arguing with you, but if you've been in business for that long surely you don't depend on those #######es for too much.

 

Someone has to screw it up so the rest of us look good. TQL has their place.
