I'm not one to just bash a company but I've been working for Carroll Fulmer for 8 months hand I run as hard as they will let me and I only make about $500 a week average they send me home early from my days app and they also take $25 a week out of your check for what they call truck deposit like an escrow also you have to pay for two load locks up front before your first check they also charge you a percentage off a draw if you don't use the money for their truck and a $6 fee for the comp check also you know that Florida is a toll road Haven and they only reimburse you $10 her load for tolls another thing is no matter how much experience you have you start at $0.34 a mile and they've also got cameras in their trucks facing in the truck and out of the truck they say it's for your protection also yeah right at night when the day folks go home they send everybody a message saying don't call the day crew has gone home we are short-handed use the Qualcomm and as long as they hear what they want they'll communicate but when you try to tell him something's wrong or you don't agree with them they just don't answer the phone or return your call on the Qualcomm and I'm sitting in a truck stop right now in Dallas after 19 hours of waiting to get loaded they finally told me my load was cancelled and they all try to get me something out but I know it's not going to happen because they are Dispatchers in the load planners won't be in till tomorrow morning so if you don't mind being lied to come on down four or five trucks a month opening up with new people going in them but I have never seen such a turnover in any company and help I work for JB Hunt not bashing them but good luck and watch out for the bed bugs

The issues with Carroll Fulmer have been well documented. Low pay and s****y equipment galore.

Wow,.... another bad trucking company , imagine that
These companies also are starting to have alot nerve to charge drivers for anything they feel like making up , they even have the nerve to put a creepy little camera in their trucks
I hope drivers wake up and start banning these slime balls out of business

    just_sayin, Bump&go, TST65 and 2 others Thank this.

All that in one long statement......ok, the honeymoon is over, when are you telling her goodbye?

Oh wait, Greg wants you call him and discuss their solution!

Tell them you need more money for sitting.

All of the $$$ you are complaining about and the cameras, YOU knew going in. Why don't drivers listen when in orientation and read what they sign?

I worked for Carroll Fulmer for 1 year 2013-2014, and it was exactly what I expected. It's more of a 2nd chance company in my opinion.
I made OK money usually between 650-950 a week but couldn't afford the health insurance. I didn't sit much as I don't remember that being a problem often. The dispatchers and micro managing was what I hated most.
I kinda liked my mack, I had a older one. It only had one major breakdown, after I put in my 2 weeks notice, Carroll Fulmer rented me a car to go from Iowa to Kentucky to pick up a different tractor in a shop and bring it back to Groveland.
I got paid my vacation pay after I put in my 2 weeks and was paid before my last day and also received every penny back from the escrow which took a few weeks after my last day.
So basically if you can get by on .34cpm 2500miles a week then it's an ok gig. My experience was otr not the regional stuff they do.
