We bought the trailer on March 4 , 2016. They registered it for me in Maine and told me that I would get the Title in the mail in a couple of weeks. It's now June 6 and even after calling them more than once they just keep blowing us off and saying they will check into it and never calling us back. Still no title 14 weeks later . Any advise , comments or suggestions?

    Sometimes it takes a while.

1 next time title it yourself

2 titles still take a while when you do it yourself

I hope you have a bill of sale listing the trailer make, model, and VIN, and how much you paid for it and the dealer would be doing your title transfer. Is there a line item on the bill of sale for the transfer fees?

I did my registration and title in Maine in February. It's now June and I've still yet to recieve my title and I did it all myself. I attached an email from the titling agency I used to give Yu an idea on how long it should take. Just hang in there driver. Hope this helps

    Thats crazy.

Florida gives you 2 choices,.. pay less and wait 2 weeks to have it mailed to your address. Or pay $30 more and they print it up right there in the DMV and hand it to you on the spot.

I've dealt with them in the past. Nice people but not the best at calling people back. I would start hounding the Maine agency they used directly. I want to say my last title took a good 2 months to get to me.

In Oklahoma, walk in paper work, give money, walk out with a plate and title.(about $85 for a new trailer then $7 a year)

Here in WV I have always had the experience of walking in with the paperwork and walk out with the tags, and the title if you want to wait just a little longer. Basically just as @Hurst And @Old Man have said. Good luck.
