I don't have a secret formula and my truck and trailer is not a show truck ..and I'm ugly ! Lol..but over the years dot has left me pretty much alone other than for a quik peek here and there ..gota a clean level 1 in Kansas not to long ago .
All I can say is I keep myself and my equipment clean and I don't have problems , when I discover a problem it's straight to a shop and I'm always eyeballing my truck and trailer .
I just don't get bothered by em much

scales closed on my run today didn't even see any cvi running around in mn

 

Last few years in Northern California, Oregon, and Washington, I haven't seen any extra enforcement. Normal scales open. Getting ready to leave Chioquin OR in a few, will see how it is. Sometimes they pop open a check point every few months next to Mt Shasta on US-97, we will see.
