Walmart here I come!

A friend of mine submitted an application online over the weekend for an open position for the Oklahoma DC, but when he checked today to see what DC's were hiring, Oklahoma was no longer listed.

When logging into Walmart it shows his app was accepted on 6/4/16. He is wondering if he still has a chance or would this mean the position has been filled?

 

Everyone on this thread has been so helpful. Thank you very much. We will definetly be anticipating the final call. It has been a nerve wrecking wait.

 

I wouldn't be concerned yet. Not long after my husband applied to a DC it went off the list. He didn't get a call for nearly a month after he applied. I have heard others taking longer.

Nope. We've got plenty of freight. In fact they're bugging us to extend our week
My opinion. There's lots of drivers burning their personal and sick time before PTO takes effect. Me included. Week off scheduled soon. And this comes as result of advice from GTM and HR. What do they know, that we don't? And it's the way it's said, very hush-hush, don't let others know, but you better not get caught with a lot of extra time,when the change comes.

 

Hiya Matt, grats on the trucking championship by the way brother! Doing OK but considering going back to gas hauling here lately, man things are getting pretty slow at 6048. Yep, dedicated is getting loads while we all sit around the drivers room drinking coffee.
