Idiot Trucker in Oregon

That is really bad....criminal charges are pending. He is done driving.

 

This guy skipped idiot and went straight to murderer. I'm beaming with trucker pride right now. /puke

 

Driver is finished with trucking permanently. He is or was so stupid to take on a double yellow.

He will be lucky to retain his freedom.... I think charges will be brought against him for Involuntary vehicle manslaughter to start off...

SBT company probably knows they have to pay out 250K or whatever deductable and start gathering cash together as the Civil Suits are prepared against the guilty all around. Medical billing for life flight in the thousands to start off. Be helicopter,. Staff, RN's, then Hospital, all supplies consumed, medicines, staff, Doctors, scanning instruments (I took a two hour MRI ride once... a cool 15 thousands of dollars once a decade ago. and so on all the way down the line.

I would imagine the Fed would want a piece of that driver.

 

Wow.. no patience. Better to be late than risk a dumb move like that. That and the double yellow line anyway as mentioned. Feel sorry for the victims.

 

What really pisses me off, is that most usually, as in this case, it isn't the fool who caused it, but some innocent people that are killed or badly injured.

 

All because he was impatient. There is no place on earth that we need to be in such a hurry and do stupid things like in this case. Now 1 person is dead and another in very critical condition. Prayers for the families victims suffering because of this.

 

And yet you see it all the time. More with four wheelers, but with big trucks too.

 

This time of year on pretty summer days, you're screwed no matter which option you take ... the interstates are jammed with super-dense traffic, serious high-speed crash waiting to to happen, or take the scenic 2-lane option ... with lots of Sunday drivers and overloaded travel trailers and slow RV's ... serious crash waiting to happen
