No idea why they are like that. I'm having fun paying off HUGE chunks of debt. Saturday, I made $474, Sunday, I made just over $475, yesterday I made almost $395. Most weeks, I gross between $21-2200 and go home at a decent time on day 5.

    I like it here.

I finally found a job I'll retire from. They are a privately owned company ran by American foods..51 a mile,.53 east coast states.most drop and hook, pre planned loads.they seriously go for detention and they have nothing but respect for the drivers.new equipment, pet and passenger policy. American services only hires the best drivers.you should have a 1 yr experience with no tickets or accidents.

Yea, I tell people, and believe, that in trucking or whatever you do to make your way through this life, if money is first and best motivation, you have already failed.

The people getting into trucking today probably made that at their last job before making the career switch to trucking. I spoke to a guy who claimed to be an engineer now drives for a mega. The stories people tell I swear.

Btw, drivers with one year experience are not the best drivers.

Ponder this, they want a $15/hr minimum wage to flip burgers, that's only slightly less than the current avg. wage for a truck drivers. Would you give up driving to go flip burgers?

There are a lot of guys that choose to drive a truck with degrees. Many different reasons make trucking more appealing than the field they went to school for. Not the least of which is the desire to live a simple, less stressful life.
