POLL: Are you working during DOT blitz?

It's RANDOM not selective so it's a true measure of vehicle of vehicle fitness of the vehicles ON the road .. The bad ones are hiding . It's great seeing megas and not just owner ops and small companies getting inspected like it normally is .. It would be nice to know if certain companies who never seem to get inspected have more violations during blitzes

 

I am completely in agreement with you. I was also going to put "how far is this going to go?" Butt decided against it...

I like watching the YouTube videos where people film the cops and the cops say they are not free to leave, but no they are not being detained. ????? Or, "I need your I.d. because I am investigating that a crime MAY have been committed here". Or, "I don't need a warrant". It's such bs. Saying this as a Canadian, America is a dam great country, but issues like overreaching government, on many levels, is making it lose its luster to me... the people, the land, the tons and tons of small family businesses I love ...but your government needs to take a few steps back...

 

The US Government needs a 90% downsizing IMO. The amount of corruption in this country is unbelievable. I'm very active on these issues and part of a large YouTube community. People today that are still somewhat asleep have no idea what is going on.

 

Yep. And the entertainment machine is doing exactly what it is designed to do. Keep mostly everyone talking about American Idol or whatever the latest show is, every minute alone they are on Facebook or otherwise in their phone, very few of which actually stop and think what is really happening. Some people on YouTube compare today's police to the gestapo of Nazi Germany, I think that is a bit far, but I can see how it is inching forwards in that direction. "Show me your papers!" Why does it feel like guilty until proven innocent?

 

That's why I said the hiding drugs in the butt post earlier. I don't want anyone going in my butt only to find my poop. Why, if I was asked by any form of LE, to consent to a search, if I say no I don't consent, they somehow forget that does NOT grounds for reasonable suspicion?? I guess asking for consent is just a formality at this point.

 

You also have to remember history is written by the victors. I believe WW2 is the most lied about time period in human history. After deep study of the war I believe it was just another war for the banks. The Germans kicked the central bankers out of Germany in 1933 and that was the Nazi's death nail.

 

Last year I was inspected on one side of a bridge heading west they found nothing let me go get to the other side of the bridge which you can't see over dot waves me over for an inspection.I rolled window down asked if the officer on the other side forgot to give me something back he looked at me real funny and asked if I was stopped on the other side I said yes he said have a nice day.

 

I wish they would do this every day for the rest of the year! I've been getting calls all day from brokers looking for trucks. I haven't been getting run off the road by the usual duct tape and baling wire trucks either. It's great!
