Thanks Bro. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

They probably could. But then you couldn't cut a deal with the agent who is needing to move a preloaded van. Like a deal that gives you 75% instead of 65%. To each his own I guess, it depends on what kind of system you prefer. Some guys prefer dealing with brokers and hitting that Big Score every now and then. That is not possible in a system where they post exactly what you get, take it or leave it.Hegemeister Thanks this.

I have been with Landstar 5 years .... I am leaving them going back to my small, carrier ....tired of dealing with hit and miss weeks ...its is very hard now to work with just a few agents most agents have no direct loads .. Just broker loads ....

There's a lot of garbage on the load board. I think they rely on newly hired folks to book these loads. If you see a load posted multiple times be skeptical of it. Beware of the high paying loads that run overnight. When you get the load delivered you'll be out of hours so you'll kill 2 days on one of these loads and won't make 2 days revenue. Look at the age of the load. If it has been on the board a long time it has a lot higher chance of cancelling so you'll make more money with "fresh" loads. And don't go to Florida. Hope that helps.whoopNride and Hegemeister Thank this.
