Rain X works in the way it should as far as beading the water up but makes the wipers noisier than hell when you do go to use them

I use everything Kevin Rutherford endorses and it all works even better than he claims it does.

When rain x wears out it's a #### safety hazard that might put you in the ditch. If you don't reapply it periodically, about every 3 or 4 weeks, it loses it's effectiveness. But not only that it causes the wipers to just smear and you can't see anything when it rains even with the wipers on full blast. It's like a crack habit for your windshield. Once you apply you have to keep it up and continually apply it again every few weeks.

I will never put that #### on my windshield again. Good wipers are all I need. I almost went into the median one rainy night in Kentucky on I-65 because of rain smearing wipers on a windshield that had been treated with rain x but I let it go. That was a puckering moment I won't ever forget. Nothing quiet like a sudden downpour in the middle of 65 mph traffic that reduces viz to zero. But it was only zero because of that crap screwing up my windshield. I could see brake lights and four ways come on in the darkness and rain thru the smear but not much else.

I put Marvel Mystery Oil and STP in my Studebakers regularly. Quiets the knocking and reduces the cloud of smoke coming out the tailpipe for a few miles...

Sprayed both kids with wd40. Can still hear their jaws flapping. Duct tape does work as advertised though

I buy this stuff called Kroil for rusty bolts and stuff like that. Also come in a spray can called Aero-Kroil. It's a little spendy but it works great. Makes WD-40 and PB Blaster look like dirty sea water.

Never could get into the snake oil for fuel mileage. The only thing I use sometimes is the Power Service Biokleen when the crappy fuel starts sliming my fuel filter up.
