I've got allotta free time and been reading everything I can find on fuel mileage enhancement. Some sites and forum posts talk about the benefits of using acetone in class 8 trucks at a 2oz/10gal mix ratio. I tried it in my 03 Ford with 5.4L gas and it gave me about 1mpg which is about 10% - until the computer compensated for it and brought the air/fuel ratio back to where mileage went back to stock. Does anyone have any experience using acetone in class 8 truck engines?

Mark you'd be better off building your own APU I have designed one similar to the pony pack for around $1000 I have one more piece to research. Electric fan VS stock clutch fan. An electric fan would eliminate the need for a seoarate condensor/fan for the APU. Granted it uses a cheap chinese diesel for now but I plan to take the money I would have spent making payments on an APU and upgrade to a quality engine in time.
