DUI 2 Years 7 months ago

My only speeding ticket was in 2007, 92 in a 70 on 75 in Florida...didnt affect me getting hired at cnon-way freight.

 

That would be great...only thing is he still has an insurance carrier to deal with...that's the rub...you may have learned your lesson and cleaned up your act..but to the ins. companies you are still a very high risk.

 

Technically you don't have a DUI until you are convicted in court. Hurry and get a job before court date!

 

There are small companies that will hire with 3 yo dui I know I fell into that catogory at one time. Dont give up everybody screws up its just harder on someone with a cdl. Hold on Jethro I agree we need to be held to a higher standard but I know Ive screwed up. I dont think there is one person on here that has ever had a drink and drove wasnt close or over a .04 moral of story call a cab. Or in my case quit drinking best thing I ever did But Ill be darned if im gonna hang somebody on here who has had a dui keep trying the only thing that can stop you is insurance and dont let anyone tell you different my dui was 2.5 years old but nothing eles on my dl I got hired.

 

white line fever. People on here are gonna hang ya man its not the end of the world your career is not over did you learn from this screw up then good on ya . Im speaking from exp. its not career ending I promise Its all up to the insurance carrier my dl is clean no moving no accidents nothing but a dui thats going back 7 years ease up guys everybody screws up I dont want to be on the road with a drunk either but a dui doesnt make someone a drunk.
