BNSF is going all lift....The Chicago Trac Lease rep is having a hart attack !!!

 

20/40s i assume only. 53s is where its at.

 

Customers are in for a BIG surprise in the next 2-3 years...

 

Isn't that one of the MAIN REASONS for ANY new regulations or laws? $$$$$$ Cha-Ching!

 

I just got out of intermodal in February. Rates were getting horrible, I couldn't imagine having to scale every load too.

 

Spoke to the hub mgr who was in our office in Joliet ############ with our safety director., said Jan 1.

 

Ya.......... We'll see if that actually happens. Elwood would come to a stand still if everything was lift on/off.

 

The port cranes are definitely coming, you can see them sitting at Mi-Jack on 80 just west of 294.

 

Elwood bought 4 new cranes....

 

said they will reduce # of spotters from 108 to 5 by Jan 1 as well.

Can only imagine the cost savings.
