Just curious what options are available out there for mirrors for wide loads. My brother and I are setting up several trucks to haul oversize and I know there are some like the mobile home toters have but those are not an option in this case because they are brand new lease trucks. Peterbilt 579. Any suggestions on what would work? The factory mirrors are attached to the door with one plastic arm at the bottom so I am concerned about getting too much weight on there if we go with something that attaches to the factory mirror. It also needs to be something very functional because they will be doing multiple loads per day so they will be used a lot. Thanks for any helpful suggestions!

There is a company that makes wide load mirrors for pickups, maybe 16 ft wide. I bet you could make or have them make the brackets to fit on the fire wall of your truck. It is at least worth a look. Google: "The Trailer Shoppe"
Oxbow Thanks this. -
