Flatbed is so DIFFERENT than pulling a box.
I don't know if you've ever done it but it isn't as easy as alot of people say.
Whenever I see someone say it just takes common sense it makes me laugh.
It's alot of extra work on top of DOT messing with you constantly.
Plus the added equipment cost..of course once you make the initial investment it depends on you to keep the equipment up.
George Carlin summed it pretty well:
''Think of how stupid the average person is,and realize half of them are stupider than that!''

You don't lose any of it if you buy out the truck and keep it, was my point. Not the type of lease where you turn the truck in at the end. That's a whole different animal. Those who I know leasing from Schneider, however, are going to buy out the truck at the end, so the money has come off the total. I, however, didn't get my truck from Schneider because I'm one of those red-headed step children of the company who brought their toys with them.mickimause Thanks this.

That's why I never got into because something tells me it's as easy as everyone says .. It's always easier to a person who's been doing it lol

I was talking bout his lease he had with Prime.. They turn there trucks after there lease is up and they get that mileage charge everyweek.. i used to work there many many years ago lol
-
Isn't primes lease deal or the actual lease purchase require like 15k down? If you don't do that, you lease a truck 3 years then you take the money you make after that lease then do the LP, so unless you have 15k to put down on a prime truck it will take about 6 years. Uum no thank you. I looked into prime before making my decision on coming here and while no company is perfect, im happy i came here
freightwipper Thanks this. -
They have two different leases one is just a simple lease but you never on the truck and then there's another one where you can lease to own it outright that's probably the one that he's on there they have a name for that used to be over there years ago I can't remember the name of the lease
