One of the best truckstops up here in the NorthEast if not THE BEST. Plenty of good parking, everyone I met was friendly and in a decent mood or at least quiet. Decent sandwiches in the store and the restaraunt cooked food was just like home made. Also there wasn't a bad lookin waitress in the whole place (or at least that I saw). Rest rooms were alright and I didn't take a shower so I can't comment on that.
    It's right off rte95 in Bangor,Me.
    Stay safe

Only been there once, but I thought it was one of the best truckstops I have ever been to. Started with the manager helping to make room for my superload. Then the showers were clean and warm (a must up there in Maine in the middle of winter!). Finally, the restaurant was clean, bright, great food, and friendly wait staff. I really liked the community tables... reminded me of home on the farm where everybody ate together at one long table. Dysart's is a must if you run up that way!

Went through there about 3-4 years ago and came across a mobile chapel. (Husband and wife team that visits truck stops around the entire state of Maine as a ministry on a weekly basis in an RV.) Sure, the visit was about an hour or so long, but some memories last forever.

One thing I do remember is the overflow parking they have across the street. I hope that they don't get bought out by one of the megatruckstop chains. Service would then probably turn to crap overnight.

I like dysarts too. People are always pleasant and the food is pretty good. I had no problem finding a place park.

Good food, but I thought $26.00 for dinner was a bit much. It was excellent, and I don't treat myself very often. I didn't like the fact that I didn't get a table until the 3rd. time I went in the restaurant. The shower was clean but I roasted my ##### off because they didn't have the A/C on. In the world of "Travel Centres" and "Stopping Plazas," it's nice to go to a truck stop that remembers where their roots are and treat us like we're the reason they're in business.
