You seem to overlook the obvious also with garys big 1.80 a mile piece you more than likely will get where you're going and have nothing coming back or sit days waiting for something. At 2.95 a mile after deducting my .85 CPM I still have 63 cents a mile both ways for my pay, Like I said before if you look you will find the truth about gary he sells his "pie in the sky" fantasies to the unknowing. Time they have invested 40-60K they are stuck like chuck, the only one making anything is gary with his dispatch fee. Go to some of the other forums and ask about him.
I really don;t think you have a clue with the oil patch dead there's hotshot trucks every where east trying to find something and hauling dirt cheap. Only about 10% of loads will work on a hotshot truck so this is a very limited market and most don't last over eighteen months and you probably won't either unless of course this is garys alter ego?

I do not answer anything unless I know what I am talking about. . I live in Oklahoma, so I do know about the oil patch and the problems the last year and a half. I have not hauled any oilfield stuff in over 4 years, no need to with what I haul and where I go. I am glad you are doing good with what you are doing. More power to you, but bad rapping others gets old too. Good luck, hope you continue making good money.

Get back in that 80k lb 4 wheeler disprespecting magnet. Not being able to go where I want, when I want, never again! Hotshots are mostly for loads to small for 18's and too big for Fed-Ex or UPS. Also. a whole lot of expedited and overnight freight. So for the people who don't like Hotshots or understand what they do, or why they exist, or why they see so many of them, contact the US Consumer's and tell them they cannot buy anything else that is too big for Fedex and too small for a 18.

Excellent information given here. I agree with this post, because I see many folks with their 1 tons making an average of $2.25/mile and do not require a back haul to make money doing it.
