Hireright lawsuit?

I received two letters today in the mail with two post cards and two different claim numbers, I guess I'm special lol.

 

fill it out, take copies, mail it in. if you got that, you are on the list in the class action suit. you must have gotten a copy of your DAC report with-in the time frame they listed.

take whatever money the send you, it is yours, and it cost you nothing to get it.

the more people that take the payout, the more it'l show DAC/Hire Right, they cannot screw around with you.

those that opt out, the lawyers get that money as well.

 

Received my letter today I didn't know there's been other cases against them. The whole DAC report is just pathetic if you ask me. How many professions have something similar, not many!

 

I got the letter as well today but I have never had my name ran by them. Curious how they got my information now.

 

Got the post card today....they declared bankruptcy and $460K is what the bankruptcy administrator is approving as settlement.....oh, well....

 

$50 is more than fair for the 30 seconds it took me to sign the card and stick it in the mail, since I had no apparent damage from whatever they did wrong.

 

Got one today. Said I might get 47 dollah depending on how many people send the card back. So if you get one just throw it away lol -

 

You have to do more than just sign and send. You have to submit one of the two

1. A copy of the written request that was sent to HireRight or,

2. A written affidavit or declaration signed by you stating that you made such a request to HireRight during the time period between May 23, 2011 and May 2, 2016. A draft declaration is available at www.HoytFCRASettlement.com.

 

Yep got it, read it and tossed it so you can have my 47 dollars.LOL You better read it closely. They said they were going to be collecting $660,000 in legal fees Outside the suit but they didnt say who they would be collecting them from?
