I can stay on unemployment for ten cents a mile how do people survive at that rate?
-
If you go with Carolina Cargo, be prepared to run hard. They do East Coast/West Coast turnarounds back to back to back to back!
-
Do they pay ten cents a mile and I don't mind running I haven't likes Texas much since I've been here lol. I just want to drive.
-
It's .11 cpm for all dispatched miles. Drivers average about $500 - $600 weekly includes fuel bonus.
People work there to keep their cdl active and to show a steady, reliable work history for their next employer. Most stay a few months then other companies will take a chance on them.
@Fljosh13
Their major freight leaving the Carolinas is frozen chickens headed to California/Pacific Northwest, then whatever back to the East Coast. You will gain good experience driving in all weather/all terrain which is good on your job application for your next company.carhauler20313 Thanks this. -
