Does anyone can help me to get high RPM on CATERPILLAR electronic engine. Something around 2700rpm or 3000rpm.
    Don't asked me why.
It is for drag application only.

one of the problems is the burn rate of diesel fuel slow so if you inject some propane you could pronally speed that up
Mr Banks has been doing a lot of work lately on trying to get a Duracrap to run up in the 5-6k range so go check his stuff out
What is the stroke on the Cat as?
As piston speed is a final limit factor

c-16 at 3k has a piston speed of 3375 fpm which is possible but you will probally need custom rods and piston as much over 3000fpm probbaly way less for these as they are very heavy tend to the stock limit for most motors as a rule of thumb the thing is you can get these made but with a long crank such as any inline 6 it will tend to twist on you
you said this is a drag race motor it might live for short bursts

Well he said the motor is built, but if its a stock valve train and crank i guarantee valve float after 2700rpm, C15 or C16.

Not sure what all you've done to the engine, but the most popular drag engines are equipped with dual turbo's, large exhaust, nitro, propane, and intake coolers. There's lots of data out there. Diesel Power Magazine is a start for suppliers and builders. They mostly do articles on P/U diesels, but there is an occasional Semi engine.

Hes talking about engine internals being built, not engine accessories.
