Probably going to just depend on the carrier you are trying to get hired with. I would go talk to safety and ask why this is being passed along.

Cause they are losing a valuable person. So they keep something like this on him, just like a jilted lover.
    No good deed goes unpunished.
Werner definitely needs more safety conscious babies like the one that ratted him off, that probably has a hard time washing his own windshield.

That's truly bogus OP. Things happen for a reason though, maybe Wally World isn't all it seems, and a better destiny awaits you.

if nothing else, it may be reported to DAC as an incident, since no harm, no foul. may not even be mentioned in any DAC report, but may stay on your personnel file. either way, move far, far away and apply someplace else, and frankly, if it were me, i'd NOT mention it. but have you story ready if someone DOES call you on it.

should NOT be a big deal, in fact, you may get a cat lover at another employer, that might hire you instantly.

Thanks guys; by the way I am a driver for XPO/Conway truckload, this didn't happen at Werner. And the reason I am looking is pretty much that I feel betrayed by my own coworkers haha. Guess I'll start putting in apps.

Thank you for all the answers.

Well I'm probably the biggest cat person on TTR. I will say a prayer for your dilemma.

You'll have to list it on future applications unless you can somehow get away with not listing that company in your application work history. (Bad idea, they can cross reference all that using DAC and PSP.)

Walmart probably gave you the axe because it *was* in your safety file at the old company but was nowhere to be found in your application. They naturally assume you were hiding it on purpose and that's that as far as they care. Next please.

Those companies are few and far between anymore. There's always a few ppl that have nothing better to do but tattle on their coworkers. Then of course the company makes a huge deal out of it and you're marked for life.

If it happened at a DC, it may not have been another driver who called in to report him. Many of these places have strict policies in place to comply with OSHA regulations in regards to "elevated work locations" and "fall protection" as well as what may or may not be considered "safe" means of getting to and from that elevated work location. When my dad was laying bricks, an OSHA inspector chewed him out for using the "ladder" that is built onto the scaffolds instead of an actual ladder leaned up against the scaffold. They are the government and not everything they do makes sense...but the fines they write are VERY real. So, anyone from a guard to a yard jockey to someone in the office may have seen you on top of a trailer without fall protection (violating the DC's "fall protection" policies) and notified your company to let them know this was unacceptable behavior and repeat violations will cost them the contract.
